During a long-distance sea voyage, without the Captain realising, steering of the ship started malfunctioning in the following manner. When the Captain was trying to turn the ship 60 degrees to the left, ship was turning 30 degrees to the right. When the Captain was trying to turn the ship 90 degrees to the left, ship was turning 90 degrees to the right. When the Captain was trying to turn the ship 45 degrees to the right, ship was turning 30 degrees to the left.
