Educational use only

All content on Roughworks is provided for educational and exam-preparation purposes only. Many resources are free, while certain scheduled mocks and services require payment. Roughworks is independent and is not affiliated with IIT Bombay, UCEED, CEED, NID, NIFT, or any official examination body.

UCEED 2027 All India Mock

The All India Mock is a fixed-time online practice event scheduled for 25 October 2026. The waiting room opens at 9:00 AM IST, Part A runs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Part B runs from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, and the upload-only window closes at 1:30 PM. First entry closes at 10:30 AM and joining late does not provide extra time.

Registration is confirmed only after payment or a valid prepaid companion-code claim is successfully recorded and a roll number is issued. A form submission, seat hold, pending payment, or waitlist position is not a confirmed registration.

The advertised rank and percentile apply only to the eligible Roughworks mock cohort. They are not an official UCEED rank, predicted AIR, admission result, or guarantee of performance in an official examination.

Prices and payments

The current prices are ₹99 for a Solo Pass and ₹149 total for a Friend Pass covering two candidates. The applicable price and scope are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Roughworks does not receive or store your card PIN, UPI PIN, OTP, or banking password.

If a payment is captured but a seat cannot be allocated, or if a duplicate payment is confirmed, the transaction will be placed into reconciliation and, where applicable, refunded to the original payment method. Bank and payment-provider processing times may apply.

Friend Pass and companion codes

A Friend Pass reserves two seats through one payment. The purchaser receives a private companion code. The second candidate must sign in with a separate Roughworks account, submit their own details, and claim the code before registration closes. Each candidate receives a separate roll number, attempt, evaluation, and result.

A companion code may be claimed once, cannot be regenerated, and becomes non-transferable after claim. An unused code expires when registration closes and does not create a refund, credit, or replacement right. The purchaser can see whether the seat was claimed and the claimant's Roughworks display name and username.

Refunds, transfers, and absence

Confirmed Solo and Friend Pass registrations are final and non-transferable. We do not provide voluntary refunds for a change of mind, absence, late arrival, an unused companion code, or problems with a candidate's device, power supply, internet connection, or environment.

Duplicate or unfulfillable payments are refunded after reconciliation. If a verified Roughworks or platform failure materially prevents delivery of a paid seat, we may provide an appropriate reschedule, credit, partial refund, or full refund to the original payer, depending on the affected allocation and the circumstances. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Exam access and candidate responsibilities

Candidates must use the Roughworks account connected to their registration. When the waiting room opens, the assigned roll number is filled automatically and cannot be changed. The candidate must enter their date of birth in DDMMYYYY format as an additional verification step. Account access is still required; a roll number and date of birth do not replace account sign-in.

Candidates are responsible for a compatible device, a stable connection, sufficient power, a suitable environment, and the required drawing materials. Responses must be the candidate's own work. Impersonation, unauthorized assistance, interference with other candidates, or attempts to bypass examination controls may result in cancellation of the attempt and exclusion from results.

Missing Part B responses receive zero marks. Uploads must be accepted by the service before the 1:30 PM deadline; selecting a file or beginning an upload is not proof of submission.

Results and evaluation

The response sheet and Part A answer key are scheduled for 26 October 2026 at 6:00 AM IST. Combined results and detailed solutions are scheduled for 1 November 2026 at 10:00 PM IST, subject to evaluation, integrity checks, and correction of any material technical issue. Part B evaluation involves human judgment and may include moderation.

Confirmations and admit cards

We send registration and operational messages to the email address connected to the candidate's Roughworks account. Confirmation emails may include a personalized admit-card PDF containing the registration, candidate, and payment details described in our Privacy Policy. Candidates should check those details promptly and contact us if anything is incorrect.

Accounts and eligibility

You may use most of Roughworks without an account. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information where requested and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Public sign-in is typically via Google. Beta testers may be given access to a separate email-and-password sign-in route; that route is intended only for invited testers.

Source of questions

Questions are sourced from official past papers published by IIT Bombay (UCEED/CEED), NID, and NIFT, which are publicly available. All intellectual property in the original question content belongs to the respective institutions.

No guarantee of accuracy

While we strive to keep content accurate, we make no warranty regarding the correctness of answers, solutions, or explanations. Always verify with official sources before relying on any information here for your preparation.

Prohibited uses

You may not scrape, copy, or redistribute any part of this site — including code, content, and branding — for any purpose without prior permission.

You may not attempt to probe, disrupt, or bypass security controls; overload infrastructure; access another user's account or data; or use Roughworks to distribute malware, spam, or abusive content.

User-submitted content

When you submit a sketch to the public community gallery, you confirm that you are the author of the work and that sharing it does not infringe any third-party rights. By submitting, you grant Roughworks a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the image on the site for the purpose of the community gallery.

To request removal of a submission, email bhargab@roughworks.in. We will action removal requests promptly.

Third-party authentication

When you sign in with Google, your use of Google's services is also governed by Google's terms and privacy policies. Roughworks does not control how Google presents consent screens or processes your Google account data beyond what you authorize at sign-in.

Service changes and availability

Roughworks may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may impose reasonable technical limits to protect the service and other users.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roughworks and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site.
